Old furniture, especially boring ones, is perfect for creative experiments. The woman explained that her kitchen was originally purchased on a budget, but circumstances prevented her from investing in a new set at short notice. However, upon realizing how much time she spent in the kitchen cooking for her family, she decided to take action.
With a surplus of creativity and a desire for change, she embarked on the transformation project. Although she is not particularly good at painting, she spent a few hours updating the furniture.
In total, the project cost $19, which covered the essentials: a paint roller, paintbrush, cans of acrylic paint, gold paint for the hardware, and varnish. In addition, she decided to expand the set by purchasing three second-hand hinged cabinets on an online platform, all within the same budget.
Although she was prepared to have to buy a new kitchen if things didn’t go as planned, she was pleasantly surprised by the outcome. Delighted with the result, she is already planning her next transformation project.
